A door of opportunity is like a dream come true. It is a favorable set of circumstances that beckons to someone. Doors of opportunity can present themselves at any time. For the person who has adequately prepared for the opportunity, it is truly golden.

Alexander Graham Bell, who invented the telephone, said “When one door closes, another opens; but often we look so long and so regretfully at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.”

Despite the many opportunities life may present to us, there are those times when there appear to be none.

The difference between those who succeed in reaching their goals and those who do not, is often the level of preparedness of the former and also their ability to create opportunities while the latter wring their hands in frustration or take a mediocre path.
